The small town of  Santu Lussurgiu, with its generous and hospitable people, offers "binu, fil’e ferru e tiliccas, casizzolu e saltizza, zippulas e culunzones" (wine, aquavit, local speciality sweetmeats and cheeses, home-cured dry sausage, doughnuts and potato-filled ravioli) along with other delicacies, such as soup made with wheat grains, stewed meat with olives and "s’anzone incasau", lamb baked with bread and grated cheese.
